Margaret L. "Margie" Tyree

Tyree, Margaret L. "Margie", 92, passed away at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in Brookdale Buck Creek of Springfield. She was born in Springfield on January 30, 1926 the daughter of Lawrence and Alma (Vince) Detrick. Being a devout member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, she found great solace in her faith. After working for a few years, she then devoted herself to being a wife and mother. Her home was always warm and inviting and open to all. One of her greatest joys in life was time spent with family and friends. Survivors include her two children, Nancy A. Fisher and Timothy A. (Diana) Tyree all of Springfield; two sisters, Patty (Bob) Bishop of Las Vegas and Rosemary Born of Springfield; five grandchildren, Nina (Steven) Wiley, Maria Fisher and fiancée, Todd Flannery, Angela (Max) Stafford, Timothy A. (Kelley) Tyree, Jr. and Stephanie Leonard and fiancée, Keith Milliner and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion W. in 2007 and two sisters, Jeannie Moorman and Mary Detrick. Friends may call from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. Sunday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. Teresa Church. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
