Lynn Ann (Shope) Clark

Clark, Lynn Ann (Shope), 60, of Springfield, OH, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018. Born August 7, 1957 in Springfield, OH, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Ray Shope and Mary Louise (Nave) Shope. She is survived by her significant other of 22 years, Jeffrey Hayes Sr.; three daughters, Marissa Krupski and her children: Trent, Maia, and Mikaela of Harrisburg, PA; Stephanie VanMeter and her children: Nicholas, Devin, and Liam of Waldorf, MD; Heidi Peters and husband, Steven Peters, and their children Joshua, Gavin, Grant, and Blake; Caring friends and family, Lisa Fain, Karen Butler, and a host of others; Goddaughter, Corina Fain; two sisters, Emma Shope, and Amy Mounts; Stepson, Jeffrey Hayes Jr. and his children: Chy'Lin, Addison, and Ezra. Lynn was employed as an administrative clerk at Quest medical group. She was an extremely proud mother and adored her gaggle of thirteen grandchildren. She could often be found putting her creative and artistic talents to work crafting goods for those she loved. Lynn was an avid gardener whose yard was adorned with peonies, hyacinth, and hibiscus, winning her the Springfield Community Beautification award multiple times. She was also a stellar chef and was well known for her pies and gravy, amongst other delectable treats. Her favorite escape was any beach where she could dig her toes in the sand, bask in the sun and relax to the peaceful sounds of waves crashing on the shore. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 31st, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lynn's home.
