SHEEHAN, LOUISE ANGELA, 99, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 25, 2015 in her residence with her children by her side. She was born December 21, 1915 in Springfield, OH to Charles William and Mary Elizabeth (Welch) Eierman. Louise was a lifelong member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she attended grades one through ten, and completed her high school years at the newly consolidated Catholic Central High School in 1933. She began working at the Boston Store and later worked for Crowell-Collier Publishing Company for several years. Survivors include her two children, Charles "Chuck" Sheehan and Rosemary Sheehan. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. in 1989. Louise was a life member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She loved to do all kinds of crafts, such as, china painting, ceramics and crocheting. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, was an avid Notre Dame and Cincinnati Reds fan. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Derek Sherk from Visiting Physicians, for the care he provided to our mother over the years. Also, to Dr. Kevin Ahern and the nurses of Community Mercy Hospice, especially Jennifer, for making our mother comfortable in her final days. To our beautiful sweet mother, we thank you for being there for us. How blessed we were to have had you all these years. You showed us through your example to put our faith in God and the importance of family. We will keep you in our hearts forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church with family receiving friends 1 ½ hours prior in the church, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church, 910 Lagonda Ave., Springfield, OH 45503. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
