Loraine M. Doty

DOTY, Loraine Marie, 92, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Springfield, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Omaha, NE. She was born September 14, 1921 in Springfield the daughter of Jacob and Nellie (Loney) Herzog. She worked in food services at Springfield South High School for 25 years and retired in 1988. Loraine was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia #56. Survivors include one daughter and spouse, Regina & Edward Stephens, Woodbridge, VA; one son and spouse, Gregory & Suzanne Doty, Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Jessica (Joel) Williams, Elizabeth Doty, Patrick (Sarah) Doty, and Neil (Jenny) Stephens; four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, Jr. in 1989 and brother Ed and sisters Regina and Loretta. Visitation will be held from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 16 in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 16 in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
