Linda K. Yontz

Yontz, Linda K., 65, of Springfield, died April 27, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born March 28, 1951 in Springfield, OH to Eugene and Camille (Stafford) Schilling. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Robert A. Yontz; a son, Robbie (Tonia) Yontz; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas and Bruce Schilling. Linda was an avid golfer and began the Springfield Business Women's Golf League at Reid Park Golf Course. She was a devoted Ohio State fan and a lifetime member of the Eagles aerie 397. As per Linda's wishes, her body was donated to OSU School of Medicine. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Springfield Paramedic Trust Fund (formerly the Smilin Bob Heart Attack Fund.) Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
