Lillian Marie Shaw

SHAW, Lillian Marie (Shoemaker), 85, of Springfield, joined her husband, Robert E. Shaw, Sr., in eternal life on July 7, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born July 29, 1930 in Springfield to the late John and Opal (Patton) Shoemaker. She was a member of Union Club and past treasurer of the New Moorfield Alumni Association. She married Robert in 1949 and from this union include her surviving four children and spouses, Robert "Gene" & Barbara Shaw, Jr., Richard Shaw & Roberta Jett, Edward Shaw and Betsy Shaw, all of Springfield; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; four brothers, John (Janet) Shoemaker, Glendon "Bugs" (Sharon) Shoemaker, Jim Shoemaker and Ed (Mary) Shoemaker; two sisters, Martha "Babe" Dooley and Helen "Sid" Muncy; special friends, Carol Glenn and Millie & John Huffman and many friends at the Union Club; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E., Sr. in 2007 and two sisters, Nellie and Gladys. Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Edward Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery.
