Dubois, Leonard, 81, passed away on February 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose warmth and laughter touched the lives of all who knew him. Born on November 9, 1943, Leonard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army before embarking on a long career with International Harvester, where he worked diligently until his retirement. Leonard’s greatest joys in life were simple yet profound - casting a fishing line, rooting for his beloved Chicago Bears, sharing a meal with loved ones, and filling the room with his infectious laughter. His friendly nature and kind spirit made him a friend to many, and his presence brought light to every gathering. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian; and daughter-in-law, Nicole. He is survived by his children, Dan Dubois, Donna McAdams (Brad), Andrew Dubois (Tanya), Leonard Jr. (Tina), and Joe Dubois; Grandchildren, Chris Elliott (Kayla), Josh Elliott (Taysha), Makenna Dubois (Cole), Brittany Hubbard (Sam), and Courtney Dubois. He also left behind great-grandchildren, Olivia, Cora, Grayson, Henry, Addison, Jaelynn, Blakely, Aeva, Ann-Marie, Christian, Myles, Alexander, Chelsea, Shane, and Logan, who adored their "Gramps." His legacy of love, laughter, and family will live on in their hearts forever. A celebration of Leonard’s life will be held at CONROY FUNERAL HOME on March 1 from 12 - 2pm to honor his memory. The family encourages everyone to come and share their memories and enjoy a few laughs - just as Leonard would have wanted. May he rest in peace, forever remembered, and deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Clark County Humane Society.
