Larry W. Chaney

Chaney, Larry W., 80, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in his residence. He was born on June 16, 1937 in Springfield the son of Wendell and Ruth (Yirak) Chaney. He owned and operated Springfield Street Rod for many years. He was married for 30 years to Veronica "Cookie" Chaney. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Justin (Marlo) Chaney of St. Charles, Illinois and two grandsons, Tyler and Brae Chaney. His visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
