McDonald, Larry, 75, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on October 24, 1939 the son of Melvin S. and Evelyn L. (Clark) McDonald. He was a Butcher at Fink and Heine Meats for 30 years and later worked at Oakwood Village as Director of Security for 15 years. Survivors include his two children and spouses, Greg (Tracy) McDonald of Huber Heights and Kelley (Harold) Rogers of Springfield; sister and brother-in-law, Janice (Jim) Sheridan of South Charleston; brother and sister-in-law, Harold (Corky) McDonald of Springfield and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian; daughter, Jami Lynn; brother, Jack Whipp and sister, Rose McCoy. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Smalley officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
