Koehler, Kurt, 55, of Springfield, died at 2:49 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on December 29, 1957 the son of John and Rosemary (Huebner) Koehler. He was working as a salesman for Horner Industrial Group and also owned and operated Koehler Rentals for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church and enjoyed snow skiing in Vail, Colorado and investing in real estate. Survivors, in addition to his father of Springfield, include his wife, Cathy (Schuler); three sons and spouses, Daniel (Samantha) Koehler of Las Vegas, Stephen (Kendall) Koehler of Kettering and Michael Koehler of Springfield; six siblings and spouses, Paula (Jim) O'Dell, Kevin (Connie) Koehler, Keith (Kelley) Koehler, Kyle (Kathrin) Koehler, Kara (Chad) Yancey all of Springfield and Kris (Tricia) Koehler of Columbus; mother-in-law, Jean Schuler of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law and spouses, Judy (John) Gagis of New Jersey, Lisa (Jaimie) Birge of New Hampshire, Gail (Andy) Vater of Pennsylvania, Gina (J.R.) Knaub of Virginia and brother-in-law, Mike Schuler of Pennsylvania and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Koehler in 2001 and father-in-law, Stewart Schuler in 2009. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Teresa Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rosemary Koehler Scholarship Fund at Catholic Central or Life Connection of Ohio.
