Kathleen Sue Johnson

Johnson, Kathleen Sue, 80, of Springfield, passed away on March 20, 2016. Kathleen was born on June 17, 1935 in Springfield to Horace George and Dorothy (Mickle) MacQuire. She had been employed as a Clerical Assistant at the Champion Company, was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and worked with her husband, Kenneth, at Johnson Oil Handling Equipment Co. for a number of years. Survivors include two sons, Christopher D. Johnson of Springfield and Timothy D. (Christine) Johnson of Colchester, VT; four grandchildren, Kyle and Zach Johnson, Sheena Rice and Timothy Johnson; very special niece, Jackie McKinnon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Johnson in 1999 and her sister, Rose Ellen Routzahn. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ron Timmons officiating. Inurnment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
