Katherine M. "Katie" Schneeberger

SCHNEEBERGER, Katherine M. "Katie", 86, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Soin Medical Center. She was born July 21, 1930 in Springfield the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Grauvogl) Schneeberger. Katie owned and operated Kayteen's Shop for over 60 years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Elks #51 and was an avid card player. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Gladys Schneeberger; one niece, Kathy & Wally Henne; one nephew, Joseph "Mike" & Becky Schneeberger and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph and her loving companion of 58 years, Robert Sutch. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Bernard Scholarship Fund.
