Katherine "Kay" Zustra

ZUSTRA, Katherine J. "Kay", born in Springfield, Ohio passed away in the early hours Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Augusta, GA at the age of 55 after a hard-fought battle with ovarian cancer. She was born July 15, 1961 to Joseph and Teresa (Walsh) Fuller. She was a high school graduate of Springfield Catholic Central (Class of '79) and earned a business administration degree from the University of Cincinnati ('84). She worked in Aiken, SC as a store manager at Cyndi's Sweet Shoppe. She will be remembered by her friends and family for her positive attitude, kind spirit, and beautiful smile. She is survived by her husband, Michael Zustra; children, Alex, John, and Jackie Zustra; parents, Joseph and Teresa (Walsh) Fuller; siblings, David (Paige) Fuller, JoAnn (Ken) Sillaman, Brenda (Steve) Murphy and Beth (Ken) Beall. Friends may call from 5-7pm on Thursday, December 1 in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am on Friday, December 2 in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of Kay to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance.
