Karen Sue Moore

MOORE, Karen Sue, 73, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 in Friends Care Center. Karen was born June 15, 1944 in Springfield, Ohio to Robert Marion and Phyllis Jean (Hinkle) Snyder. She retired from Springfield City Schools for 30 years. Survivors include two daughters, Jessica (Doug) Elliott and Rebecca (Perry) Whitaker; six grandchildren, Jacquelyn Woods, Jenny Wesley, Traci Reed, Ashley Shelton, Lauren Whitaker and Ethan Whitaker; one brother, Terry Snyder; nephew, Anthony Snyder; niece, Sarah Oakley; and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her soulmate, Gail Miller; and a brother, Doug Snyder. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Rucker officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
