Karen J. Scaggs

Scaggs, Karen J., 73, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born in Cincinnati on May 24, 1944 the daughter of Paul Coleman and Joan (Kettler) Coleman Wieman. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include her children and spouses, John P. (Kelly) Scaggs of Columbus, Deborah (David) Holderman, David (Dawn) Scaggs all of Springfield, Kristoffer (Nicole) Scaggs of Middle Point, Ohio, Barbara (John) Needles of Kettering and Amber (Curtis) Spriegel of Gallipolis, Ohio; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy (Jim) Becker of Cincinnati; brother and sister-in-law, Paul (Bernie) Coleman of Hamilton, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2009. The family would like to thank Forest Glen and Kindred Hospice for their excellent care. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church. Visitation will be held two hours prior, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be held in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church.
