DUDGEON , Karen (Ebenger) M., 66, of Dublin, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 17, 2015. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on May 13, 1949, the daughter of Edward and Betty (Horstman) Ebenger. Karen graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1967 and attended Ohio University where she met her husband Robert H. Dudgeon. She began her career at Nationwide Insurance Company in Columbus as a clerk in 1971. She later became the first female health insurance underwriter for the company. She became a resident of Dublin in 1986. She was a devout parishioner of St. Brigid of Kildare, active parent in The Dublin City School District and a local campaign supporter. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Robert; her son, Christopher Dudgeon; two brothers, David Ebenger and Edward (Connie) Ebenger; two brothers-in-law; many loving aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, June 19th at St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made in her name to local charities. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
