Karen Sue Combs

Combs, Karen Sue, 71, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. Karen was born October 20, 1952 in Springfield, Ohio to Lloyd Russell and Louise (Mercer) Shipton. She is survived by two children, Lyn (Melissa) Combs and Matt Combs, both of Oregon; three grandchildren, Kalley (Coty) Wells, Hannah (Anthony) Gallardo and Haylee Combs; three great grandchildren, Ethan, Natalie and Bradley Wells; four siblings, Debi (Mike) Cochran, Tonya Frock, Penny Kunkle and Vicki Fitzwater; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tim and Rusty Shipton; and two sisters, Linda Harris and Patti Sheets. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
