Kandice Ann Hicks

HICKS, Kandice Ann, 67, of Springfield, passed away September 25, 2016 in her home. She was born November 10, 1948 in Portsmouth, OH the daughter of Richard Keith and Jean (Lavender) Warman. Kandy retired from Defense Electronic Center, Dayton, OH in 1995 as a Contract Specialist. She recently retired from Rite Aid, Springfield, OH with 15 years of service as a Pharmacy Assistant. She was a 25 year member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 776, Riverside, OH where she served as Auxiliary President for 2 years. Kandy volunteered at the Dayton VA where serving veterans was her passion. She was a past Secretary of the Third District American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Mug Bunch at WPAFB. Survivors include her father, Richard K. Warman; one sister, Kim (Pete) Sadlier; one nephew, Joe (Lindsey) Sadlier and one niece, Ashely (Derrick) Sadlier-Walling. Special friends include Carol T. Robinson of Centerville, OH, Janice Jones of Yellow Springs, OH and Stacey Tracie Springfield, OH. She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Keith Warman. Memorial services will be held at the discretion of the family.
