Judith L. King

King, Judith L, 79, of Springfield, died June 5, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born February 21, 1938 in Springfield, OH to George "Solly" and Frances 'Red" (Sigmon) Merritt. Judy was retired from Jobs & Family Services after 25 years of service. Survivors include a son, John W. (Anna) King; two grandchildren, Darcy Mapes and Frank Ball; three great grandchildren, Benjamin, Aubrey and Christopher; step grandchildren, Colin, Tyler and Ian; and a brother in law, Dennis Ball. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terrilyn King Ball. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Neil Haney officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior, beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Northridge Lions Club.
