Judith E. Scarberry

Scarberry, Judith E., 76, of Springfield, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. Judith was born April 9, 1939 in Springfield to Walter and Marie (Schwartz) Anderson. She retired from Ohio Bell/AT&T after 37 years of service and later worked for Sheehan Brothers. She was a 1957 graduate of Catholic Central High School, President of the Telephone Operators Union and a member of V.F.W. Post 1031 Auxiliary, the Union Club and St. Bernard Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Scarberry; two children, David (Dina) Longo and Joseph (John Day) Scarberry, Jr.; three step-children, Kenneth (Emily) Scarberry, Mark (Nanette) Scarberry and Scott (Mary) Scarberry; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one brother, Dick (Nina) Anderson. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
