John Schrader

SCHRADER, John, 62, of Springfield, passed away August 28, 2013 in Essex of Springfield. He was born November 26, 1950 in Springfield the son of Robert and Charlene (Edens) Schrader. He was a police officer for the Springfield Police Department for 25 years, retiring as a Lieutenant in 1999. John was an avid collector of antiques and a huge Bengals fan. Survivors include two children and spouses, John W. (Courtney) Schrader, Vienna, VA and Melissa (Ben) Wolfingbarger, Hilliard, OH; five grandchildren, Nero, Xaviera, Chase, Xander and Luke; three sisters, Tonya Maddex, Missy Helton and Roxanna Schrader; several nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Cheryl Schrader. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
