John Elton Hulme

Hulme, John Elton, 75, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in his home. John was born May 29, 1948 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Richard and Lillian (Jacobs) Hulme. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University, where he competed on the Varsity Swimming Team as an All-American and three-year Captain. John was a lifelong spiritual chela who loved seeking cosmic truth through meditation, and a loving father and grandfather. Survivors include one son, Michael (Ariel) Hulme; two grandchildren, Bridger and Cora Hulme; two siblings, Linda (Gary) Bailey and Judy (Terry) Brink; four nieces and nephews, Abby, Erika, Karlee and Mike; and his former wife, Cynthia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dick. A celebration of life service will be held in the Spring. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
