John H. Betts

Betts, John H., 58, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in his home. He was born July 9, 1956 in Springfield, the son of Don H. and Thelma (Pitchford) Betts. John worked at Reiter Dairy for many years, was member of the N.R.A. and N.H.R.A. He enjoyed bowling and golfing in his spare time. In addition to his mother of Springfield, he is survived by his three children Nicole L. (Terry) Mathews of Enon, John M. (Jessica) Betts of St. Paris and Derek A. Betts of Springfield; five grandchildren Madisyn, Liberty, Ema, Simon and Harper; a brother Jimmy Betts of Springfield; former spouse, Kim Betts and extended family members, John and Carol McCarty. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
