John D. Comer, Jr.

Comer, John D., Jr., 55, of Springfield, passed away July 6, 2019 in his residence. John was born on August 29, 1963 in Springfield to John D. Sr. and Sonja (Storts) Comer. Before living in Springfield John lived in New Braunfels, TX for 20 years. He was avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bearcats fan. In addition to his mother, survivors include two children, Amber Comer and Dustin Comer; one brother, Donnie Comer; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Cassie. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday at Vale Cemetery.
