John B. Kennedy

Kennedy, John B. 81, of Springfield, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 in his home. He was born December 6, 1933 in Springfield to Joseph and Stella (Motzer) Kennedy. He worked as a tool designer for Globe Tool & Engineering for many years. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, The Democratic Committee and was a poll worker for 38 years. Survivors include his wife, Maureen Z. (Ulliman); six children and spouses, Kathleen (Gary) Lageman, Amber and Derek; John B. Kennedy, Jr.; Carl (Carol) Kennedy, Kristin, Scott, Rachel and Megan; Edward (Pam) Kennedy, Josh, Kolby, Lincoln and Madisson; Maureen (Tom) Nagel; Colleen (John Davis) Garrett, Spencer and Mason; brother, Charles (Wanda) Kennedy and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the church. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
