JoAnn Nuss

NUSS, JoAnn, 83, formerly of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2016 in Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati. She was born December 14, 1932 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Stella (McGuire) Silvestri. JoAnn worked as a patient representative for Mercy Hospital for a number of years and was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. Survivors include five children and spouses, Teresa & Ron Seyfried, Cincinnati, Tom & Tammie Nuss, North Hampton, Julie Frock, Centerville, Mary Ann & David Montgomery, Cincinnati and Katie & Chris Straley, Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one brother, Tony & Joanne Silvestri and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Bud" in 1998, one brother, Louis, three sisters, Judy Fallis, Agnes Garrett and Margaret Jordan and a grandson, Christopher Nuss. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday in St. Raphael Catholic Church with Fr. Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Vincent de Paul.
