Joan L. Ohrt

OHRT (Krupp), Joan L., 83, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born October 20, 1930 in Springfield the daughter of Raymond and Lucille (Spang) Gaier. Joan was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Survivors include five children and spouses, Sharon & Bruce Caudill, Springfield, Rosemarie & Rob Coolidge, Chillicothe, Susan & Sam Groves, Springfield, Terry Krupp, Springfield and Kenneth Krupp, Texas; nine grandchildren, Jason & Kelley Birt, Brett & Andria Coolidge, Rob & Jill Caudill, Ashley Caudill, Cody Groves, Shane Groves, Katie Krupp, Dustin Krupp and Kaci Krupp; four siblings, Raymond & Betty Gaier, Clare Mae & Neil Reeb, Tony & Sue Gaier and Don Gaier; numerous nieces and nephews; her best friend, Phyllis and all her card-playing friends at Villa Park. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leroy Ohrt, in 1994 and her daughter, Diana Krupp in 2012. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Paul Hurst officiating.
