Jimmy W. Moore

Moore, Jimmy W., 67, of Springfield, died at 6:28 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Lee County, Virginia on June 15, 1946 the son of Thomas and Rosie (Scott) Moore. He was a painter for various body shops in Springfield. Survivors include his ex-wife, Barbara; girlfriend, Ann Skelton; son, Jerry Moore; three step-children, Diane Rodgers, Ron Skelton and April Skelton; five siblings, Mae Clifford, Naomi Davis, Dorothy (Steve) Daniels, Willard (Brenda) Moore and William (Jane) Moore; five grandchildren, James, Jr., Beth, Kelly, Shane and Justin; three step-grandchildren, Brittany, Ronnie and Stephanie; two great grandsons, Zaine and Raiden; step great granddaughter, Scarlett. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James in 2009; three sisters, Mary Jane, Ruby and Shirley and three brothers, Lee, Clifford and Charlie. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Brother Buck McIntosh officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
