VANUCH, Jilleen T., 60, of Springfield, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on July 30, 2015. She was born May 14, 1955 in Springfield the daughter of Jim and Ellen (Donohoue) Allender. Jill was an RN for Community Hospital, Lakewood Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic and most recently worked as nurse manager for Wittenberg University. She was an advocate for breast cancer research, raising money for the Stefanie Spielman Fund and Susan G. Komen Three-Day Walk via the Dance to Save the Ta Ta's. Jill lived for her husband, her kids and her grandchildren. Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband of 38 years, Joe; six children and spouses, Patrick & Tracie Vanuch, David & Crystal Vanuch, Chris Vanuch & fiance Mallory Jenkins, Katie Vanuch, Kyle Vanuch and Dan Vanuch; two grandchildren, Olivia and Landen; six siblings, Deb Allender & Geno Tackett, Mary & Buddy Roberts, Dinah & Alan Kadel, Sheri & Scott Correll, Ritchie & Lori Allender, Judy & Roger Geers and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father in 1987. The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to her team of doctors and nurses at the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center and Community-Mercy Hospice for all their wonderful care. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 to 6:00 pm in First Christian Church, 3638 Middle Urbana Rd., Springfield, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Stefanie Spielman Fund.
