Riley-Horton, Jean M., 90, of Springfield, passed away on August 31, 2013 in the Ohio Masonic Home. She was born on September 27, 1922 in Springfield, OH to John K. and Bertha (McKitterick) Barclay. Jean was a longtime member of Emery Chapel United Methodist Church. She retired from McGraw-Hill Publishing at W.P.A.F.B and later worked at Laird's Tax Service for a number of years. Survivors include two children, Beverley (Jerry) Riggin and Jack (Virginia) Riley; five grandchildren, Tony (Cindy) Thayer, Cindy (Dusty Artz) Foley, Jason (Amy) Thayer, Kelly (Rick) Wyen and Kasey (Mike) Ellinwood; 11 great grandchildren, Taylor and Hayden Thayer, Riley and Kylee Foley, Jonathan, Benjamin, Braylon Thayer, Mikenna and Gavin Sallot, Harper and Tyler Ellinwood; one great great grandchild, Leland Thayer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence "Skip" Riley, second, Marvin Horton, and a son in law, Patrick Thayer. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Dave Augustus officiating. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
