Jean A. Titer

Titer, Jean A. (Hammond), 70, of Springfield, passed away, unexpectedly, Sunday, September 14, 2014 in her residence. She was born October 18, 1943 in Urbana, OH the daughter of Nelson V. and Martha M. (Knear) Hammond. Jean worked as a bus driver for MRDD for 30 years, and was also an Avon Sales Rep for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Home City Chapter 258 Eastern Star, and Mended Hearts. Survivors include three children, Beth E. (Edwin) Meier, Belinda L. Miller and Patrick A. (Angela) Titer; eight grandchildren, Sophie Meier, Mitchell Titer, Nicholas Miller, Alexander Miller, Olivia Titer, Taylor Titer, Samantha Titer and Kinslee Titer; five siblings, Sue Christian, Jacqueline Murray, Jill (Geoffrey) Fisher, Nelson (Helen) Hammond and Sally (Tom) Burnett; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard Church. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
