Moorman, Jayne M., 65, of Springfield, on the 23rd of December 2016, during her favorite time of year, completed a magical journey with life. In keeping with her wishes she was surrounded by those she loved most, and in keeping with her character she fought to the end and defined the terms by which she went. Her greatest joy was found in the act of giving, and her final gift was a profound sense of peace for those who find it hard to let her go. Jayne was born May 13, 1951 in Springfield, OH to Mervin and Loretta (Kelly) Baker. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Chuck; and her three children Matthew, Andrew (Carla), and Molly; brother, Robert Baker; granddaughter Skyler; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Marshall. Amongst her charitable contributions were a membership with the Child Conservation League, volunteer for Meals on Wheels and was Past President of the Junior Service League. Lives were bettered by her presence and her prolific selflessness can be shared in a celebration of a remarkable life on Monday, December 26th at Conroy Funeral Home, between 4 and 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Tuesday in St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she spent a life rooted in faith. Cremation will follow. Jayne strived to create an ideal world for everyone around her. In lieu of flowers we ask you honor her nature by giving to someone in need.
