Janice A. Barnett

Barnett, Janice A., 79, of Springfield, died February 12, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born January 18, 1934 in Springfield, OH to Harold and Stella (Swaney) South. Jan retired from the Kissell Company after a number of years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she was a longtime member of the choir, and a 1952 graduate of Tecumseh High School. Survivors include a sister, Joan K. Miller (Wayne Nichols), Urbana, OH; and nieces and nephew, Larry (Ellen) Coan, Kelly Coan, Kerri (Jim) Miles and Christy Maynard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. in 2010 and a brother, Jimmy Lee South. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church. Family will receive friends one hour prior in the church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
