Janet Marie Lethcoe

Lethcoe, Janet Marie, 77, of Springfield, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Springfield on March 2, 1939 the daughter of Foster and Marie (Ross) Hixon. She retired from Mercy Medical Center after many years of service in the dietary department. She was a 1958 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a member of St. Bernard Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and helped with many other activities. She was also a member of Little Miami Rebekah Lodge, South Vienna Odd Fellows and the past Grand Matriarch of LEA of Ohio. She is survived by three children, John J. (Tracy) Lethcoe, Jr., Vickie (Tom) Gordon all of Springfield and Gail (Rob) Foster of Cable; six grandchildren, Sonya (Sean) Green, Marie and Erika Lethcoe, Lacy Brewer, Audrey and Ian Foster; two great grandchildren, Makayla McClendon and T.J. Green and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Lethcoe, Sr., step-father, Kenneth Ferryman, great granddaughter, Moira Lynn Lethcoe and brother, Roger Hixon. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with an Odd Fellows and Rebekah service at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Bernard Church. Burial will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery.
