James Thomas "Tom" Tosi

TOSI, James Thomas, 79, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in The Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1937 in Portsmouth, OH the son of William and Dorothy (Downs) Tose. He worked at Navistar for 42 years in the clerical department and retired in 2006. Tom was a member of Elks Lodge #51, The Union Club and Mitchell Hills Country Club. He was an avid golfer and loved playing at The Elks and Mitchell Hills. Survivors include his wife of over 55 years, Charlene (Hook); three children and spouses, Lori & Kevin Alden, Michele & Michael Delledonne and Thomas "T-Bird" Tosi, all of Springfield; six grandchildren, Angelo Delledonne, Ashley & Mike Dustin, Jessica Tosi, Anthony Delledonne, Brayden and Kayla Tosi; two great grandchildren, Isabelle and Austin; two brothers, Mark Bartee, Mike Bartee; two sisters, Sandra Nicewaner and Stephanie Rhoades and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Doug Bartee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Visitation will be held two-hours prior from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
