James R. Leece

LEECE, James R., 75, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 in The Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born July 11, 1942 in Rock Castle County, KY the son of Cecil and Ethel (Head) Leece. Survivors include two daughters, Rene & David Grashel, South Vienna, OH and Rosemary Henry, South Charleston, OH; five grandchildren, Cody (fiancé Ashley), D.J., Cordell, Devin and Corey and two great grandchildren, Hayley and Junior. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna in 2006; a daughter, Margie, a grandson, Braylon, two brothers, Bill and Eugene Leece and a sister, Brenda Leece. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Thursday in the Ferncliff Cemetery Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetery. The family is being served by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
