James F. "Jimmy" Malone

James F. Malone (Jimmy), 68, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Covington, KY on October 30, 2024. Born on June 9, 1956, in Springfield, Ohio, Jim was the beloved son of James and Barbara Cook Malone. He recently battled Covid and its lingering effects. 

A dedicated employee, Jim worked in sales at Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati, specializing in architectural tiles and design. He was a 1974 graduate of Catholic Central High School. Preceded in death by his parents, Jim is survived by his loving siblings: Chris and Pete Kunk (Ryan & Meg), Stephen and Debbie Malone, and Tim and Vicki Malone (Aaron & Kelsey), along with a great-niece, great-nephews, and many cherished friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 28, 2025 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Rookwood Pottery located at 1920 Race St. Cincinnati, Ohio. In honor of Jim, donations can be made to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Springfield Catholic Central at 1200 E. High St., Springfield, OH 45505.
