James M. "Jim" Foreman

FOREMAN, James M. "Jim", 76, of Springfield passed away February 21, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1940 in Springfield the son of Harry and Mildred (Benston) Foreman. Jim was the owner of Jim Foreman Buick, GMC, Cadillac from 1970 to 2015. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, was past president of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and involved in numerous other civic and philanthropic organizations. Jim was passionate about giving back to the community that gave so much to him over the years. Survivors include a special companion, Carolyn Causlin; three children and spouses, Susie (Rodger) Burk, Kathleen (Steve) Rountree and Peter (Amy) Foreman; daughter in law, Stephanie (Greg) Foreman-Jones; grandchildren, Molly (Lindsey) Duncan, Brandon Foreman, Bryant Foreman, Mitchell (Sarah) Burton, Peter (Samantha) Blair, Will, Max and Alice Foreman; great grandchildren, Garrett and Seth Agle, and Brennon Burton; siblings, Terri Holland, Patty Schneider, Ron (Patty) Foreman, Ed (Joan) Foreman, Rick (Linda) Foreman and Mike Foreman; sister-in-law, Teresa Foreman and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan A. in 2014, a son, Daniel in 2009 and a brother, John. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 10:00 am on Saturday in St. Raphael Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent DePaul or St. Raphael Catholic Church.
