James L. Silvers

Silvers, James L., 67, of South Charleston, passed away December 23, 2017 in Essex of Springfield. Jim was born January 27, 1950 in Springfield, OH to Richard F. and Ruby A. (Lowe) Silvers. He worked in and around Springfield all of his life, but farming was his passion. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was also a member of the VFW. He is survived by two brothers, Richard (Theresa) Silvers and Stanley Silvers; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and numerous other relatives. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dave Augustus officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held in Dayton National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
