LUKEHART, James I. "Jim", 74, of Springfield, passed away peacefully Saturday March 22nd, 2014 at his home in Northridge. He was surrounded by his loving wife Sherri and his family. He was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on August 14, 1939, the son of the late Irvin J. and Eleanor Lukehart. He was a graduate of Proctor High School, Utica NY and Penn State University. Jim retired from a career spanning more than 40 years in all facets of the automotive sales and service industry. He was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. Jim was an avid trap shooter, golfer, a Freemason, and a proud patriot having served his country in the US Air Force. He is survived by his wife Sherri (Kay) Lukehart; daughter, Ana (Randy) Kitts of Springfield; son, Jim (Michelle) Lukehart of Whitewright Texas; Sheri's children Tiffany (Michael) Price of Marion and Dallas Bishop of West Milton; grandchildren Zackary and Mallory Kitts, Jenna Lukehart, Ciara Hayden, Kiersten King, and Caitlyn and Chloe Price. He was preceded in death by his first wife Diana (Cherubini) Lukehart in 2006 and his sister Suanne (Lukehart) Fowler. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tammy, Jeff, Kim and the outstanding staff at Community Mercy Hospice for providing excellent care. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
