James "Jim" Kelso Hudson

HUDSON, James "Jim" Kelso, 80, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at OSU East Campus. Jim was born February 8, 1937 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to George and Grace (Kelso) Hudson. He was an avid golfer, loved to go on walks with his dog, Pax, and being with friends and family. Survivors include his wife, Saundra; two children, Shawn (Margaret) and Casey (Sophie); two grandchildren Elyse and Holden; one niece, Bridget (Robert) Young, II, and their two children, Ellie and Trace; two nephews, Hank (Rebecca) Hughes and Patrick (Karen) Hughes; and brother-in-law, Hunt (Leigh) Taylor. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Susan Taylor. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 â€" 11:00 a.m. in the Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Bill Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Clark County.
