Sullivan, James Francis "Sully" "Pops", 77, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Heartland of Springfield. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 25, 1938 the son of James Martin and Kathryn (Finn) Sullivan. He was a longtime car salesman throughout the area. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #624, Order of Kentucky Colonels and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a rabid Kentucky Wildcat fan and a proud, loving father and grandfather "Pops". Survivors include his wife, Kathy (Tuttle); four children and spouses, Jim (Kim) Sullivan, Tim (Katie) Sullivan, Kevin (Denae) Sullivan and Katy Shay; seven grandchildren, Alex, Madison, Maggie, Joe, Connor, Keegan and Liam; cousin, Peggy Herndon and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Teresa Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Central High School Athletic Department or a charity of your choice.
