Jackie "Jack" A. Runyan

Runyan, Jackie "Jack" A., 78, of Springfield, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on December 30, 1938 the son of Charles Joseph and Marjorie (Treat) Runyan. He retired from Navistar after many years of service as a carpenter. He was on the executive board of Local #402, dabbled in Stanardbred horses and enjoyed flying. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sally A. (Grimes) Runyan; two sons, Greg and Bruce Runyan; step-son, Eric (Missy) Shipton all of Springfield; four grandchildren, Joseph A. Runyan of New Albany and triplets, Bryce, Zachary and Paige Shipton all of Springfield. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Springfield Regional Cancer Center or the Clark County Humane Society. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
