Hubert W. Moon, Jr.

Moon, Jr., Hubert W.,73, of Springfield, passed away on December 7, 2015 in his residence. Hubert was born on April 18, 1942 in Springfield to Hubert W. and Ann (Savage) Moon Sr. He had been employed as a Supervisor for International Harvester for 50 years before retiring. He was a member of St. Teresa Church, Springfield Umpires, Ohio High School Athletic Association and Southwestern Ohio Officials Association. Survivors include his wife, Janet (Heil) Moon; children, William Moon of Urbana, Thomas Moon of Georgetown, KY, Michael Moon of Springfield, Louis Moon of Georgetown, KY, Andrew Moon of Phoenix, AZ and Kristin (Stefan Engstler) Moon of Frankfort, KY; five grandchildren, Anna and Andrew Moon, Emma, Jacob and Myles Engstler and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry (Vicki) Moon. Friends may call on the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Friday in St. Teresa Catholic Church. Interment will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
