Hubert L. Thompson

Thompson, Hubert L., 89, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 in Good Shepherd Village Nursing Home. Hubert was born November 10, 1927 in Middleburg, KY to Harvey and Rosa (Rice) Thompson. He retired as a Foreman from Rollins Moving and Storage after many years of service. Survivors include his wife, Martha (Miller); four children, David (Nancy) Thompson, Sally Thompson, Linda Stigall and Roy (Debbie) Thompson; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two siblings, Ruth (Joe) Howard and Harvey (Pat) Thompson; one niece, Yvette Grimes; and close friend, Bill Rollins. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosa Thompson; one grandson, John Williams; two brothers, Lonnie and Charley Thompson; and one sister, Ruby Garrett.
