Howard S. Stahl

Stahl, Howard S., 84, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 in his home. Howard was born May 29, 1940 in Springfield, Ohio, the first son of Charles R. and Mary Louise (Schaf) Stahl. He was a 1958 graduate of Catholic Central High School. He then received a B.A. in Political Science and Education from Lamar University and a master’s degree in 1975 from Wright State University in Education Administration. He retired from Tecumseh Local Schools after 37 years. He was also a member of St. Raphael Church and volunteered for United Way for 20 years. Survivors include one son, Howard (Angelica) Stahl, II; four grandchildren, Kassie, Alexius, Caitlyn and Skylar; two brothers, Frank (Linda) Stahl and Charles “Dick” Stahl, Jr.; special friend and companion, Connie Sample; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in St. Teresa Church. Burial will then be held in St. Bernard Cemetery Mausoleum.
