Howard J. "Joe" LaLonde

LaLonde, Howard J. "Joe", 71, of Springfield, died February 6, 2015 in Eaglewood Care Center. He was born November 15, 1943 in Meridian, MS to Howard J. and Glenda I. (Easterling) LaLonde. Joe was retired from Navistar after 30 years of service. He was a U.S Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Kathleen A. (James); sister, Jackie (Frank) Decker, Springfield; two brothers, Thomas (Lisa) LaLonde, Louisville, KY and Jerry (Maryann) LaLonde, Bradenton, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Capt. Ben Miller (Ret.) and hospice volunteer Andre Lorenz. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Chad Vickers officiating. Family will receive friends one hour, beginning at 12 noon. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
