Helen P. Kerr

KERR, Helen P., 76, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in her residence. She was born April 1, 1938 in Springfield the daughter of Emmett and Pauline (Cafeo) Morris. She retired from Huntington Bank, formerly Lagonda Bank, after 44 years of service. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert Kerr; one daughter and spouse, Tammy & Barry Laughlin, Springfield; two grandsons, Robert and Tyler; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Kitts, Catherine & Carl Gravenkemper and Emma Jo & Michael Burke, all of Springfield; brother-in-law, Dennie Parker; one aunt, Erma Cafeo and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marjorie Parker and a brother-in-law, Frank Kitts. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Grant Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community-Mercy Hospice or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
