Helen M. Loney

Loney, Helen M., 85, of Springfield, died at 7:51 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Hearth & Home at El Camino. She was born in Springfield on January 20, 1929 the daughter of Ivan and Anna (Zotkovich) Dadich. She was a very active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Sodality. Survivors include her four children and spouses, John R. (Donna) Loney, Carl E. Loney, Thomas W. (Emilia) Loney and Daniel S. (Melissa) Loney all of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Jill Loney, Greg Loney and fiancé, Ann Marie Torregrossa, John (Amanda) Loney, Jamie (Patrick) DeWitt, Brian (Heather) Loney, Garry Loney, Keri (Gregory) Pillion and Alanna Loney; four great grandchildren, Mia DeWitt, Vivianne, Jacob and Caleb Loney and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene C. in 1986, brother, Louis Panion sister, Katherine Veg and granddaughter, Colleen Marie Loney. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bernard Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
