COFFEY, Helen Eloise (nee Cox), 80, went peacefully to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Helen is survived by Bill, her loving husband of 60 years, her devoted sons, Thomas (Karen) and Timothy (Cathy), her dedicated daughters, Tracy (Carlos) and Mary (David). Helen cherished her eight grandchildren, Tyler, T.J. (Ashley), Nathan, Kelly (Benjamin), Matthew, William (Nell), Michael, Kristen (Tadas) and was more blessed with four great-grandchildren, Harper, Larkin, Wiley, and Briar Rose. Helen is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Darakis (nee Miller), her father, Raymond Cox and her brother, William Cox. Helen also treasured her many extended family members and numerous close friends. Helen loved her family and friends with a unique passion revealing her capacity to share her goodness and love to those around her. She was a very special lady, and will be remembered for her gentle smile and willingness to share herself with others. Together with spending time with family and friends, Helen was an excellent bridge player, she loved to travel (especially when it involved a visit with her children or grandchildren), she loved animals, specifically her beloved Lhasa Apso, Molly. Helen valued and was known for her work as a teller and customer relations for Bank One in Cambridge. She also was passionate about her volunteer work with the Red Cross, Guernsey Memorial Hospital Wing, and with The Board of Elections. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, and a true friend. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, Ohio with a sharing of memories at 11:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be follow at 12:30 pm in St. Raphael Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
